"Lisa is not just an English teacher. She is a great motivator, an excellent leader and mentor, and above all, a kind-hearted friend. Since April 2022, I have been studying for a master's degree at the University of Leicester through distance learning. Lisa has supported me throughout the entire process, from obtaining the required IELTS score for admission, to completing daily assignments, reading reference materials, and writing my dissertation, all over the course of more than four years. She has been patient, cheerful, and always there to support me. There is one phrase she said that I particularly love: ‘Teaching is my passion.’ Interestingly, we have never met in person. All our lessons have been online, with two to three sessions per week, and during weeks with assignments, we had five or more sessions, including morning and evening lessons on the same day. Despite the time difference, she always willingly provided support, even during the late hours of her day. “Teaching is my passion” is a phrase that truly defines her. I am firmly convinced of that. In July 2025, she will attend my graduation ceremony at the University of Leicester. I’m really looking forward to meeting her for the first time and talking about all sorts of things.
